HVAC Technician’s Assistant
Position Summary:
The HVAC Technician’s Assistant will work closely with our experienced technicians to provide support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and hands-on learning in the HVAC field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Technicians: Collaborate with senior HVAC technicians during installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Equipment Handling: Help transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites.
- System Inspection: Assist in inspecting HVAC systems, identifying issues, and troubleshooting.
- Filter Replacement: Replace air filters and perform routine cleaning tasks.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients, answering basic questions and providing friendly service.
- Learn and Grow: Take advantage of training opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: No prior HVAC experience required; willingness to learn and grow in the field.
- Skills:
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Valid Driver’s License: Clean driving record and valid license required.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.
